Haryana: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has secured 48 out of the total 90 assembly seats in Haryana, positioning itself to form a hat-trick government in the state. This marks the first time a party has won three consecutive terms in Haryana. The Congress secured 37 constituencies, including Julana, where wrestler Vinesh Phogat won her first battle, defeating BJP nominee Yogesh Kumar by a margin of 6,015 votes.

In the 2019 assembly elections, the saffron party failed to reach the majority mark with 40 seats. However, it formed a coalition government with support from the JJP and some independent MLAs.
Victory for development, good governance: PM Modi
Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday hailed the BJP's win in the Haryana Assembly polls as a victory of its politics of development and good governance, assuring people that the party will leave no stone unturned to fulfil people's aspirations.
He expressed his heartfelt thanks to the people of Haryana for giving the BJP a majority for a third straight term.
Describing the win as a grand victory, he hailed the party's "hardworking" members for serving the people and taking the organisation's development agenda to them. "The BJP has achieved this historic win due to this," Modi asserted.
Haryana result proves people’s faith in PM Modi: Himanta
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the BJP was able to retain power in Haryana because of people's faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "guarantees". On the BJP emerging as the second largest party in Jammu and Kashmir, he said the result was an endorsement of the efforts to defeat "anti-national forces" and ensure peace and progress, reported PTI.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said on Tuesday that the massive victory of the BJP in Haryana was a victory of the unwavering faith of farmers, poor, backward soldiers, and youth in the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shah also said the people of 'Veerbhoomi' Haryana have completely rejected the "negative and divisive politics" of Congress, which "divides" people on the basis of caste and region. The people chose the 10 years track record of development and welfare of the poor of BJP, he added.
Not acceptable, integrity of democratic process in question: Cong
Alleging a conspiracy, the Congress on Tuesday said it would not accept the Haryana Assembly poll result as it raises serious questions about the integrity of the democratic system's instruments. Congress general secretary Jairam Ramesh said the Haryana result is a victory of manipulation and subverting the people's will. He also alleged that it is a defeat of transparent and democratic processes.
Ramesh claimed serious issues with the counting process and the functioning of the electronic voting machines (EVMs) in around 14 constituencies and that Congress would take up the matter with the Election Commission soon.
