Youth dies as lorry rams bike on AC Road, 2 critical

Alappuzha: A biker died as a lorry hit his bike from behind near Nedumudi in the Alappuzha district on Monday morning.

Two others on the bike are reportedly critical.

The dead has been identified as Abhijit, a native of Kottayam.

He succumbed at the Alappuzha General Hospital.

Abhijit was a JCB operator.

The injured have been shifted to the Alappuzha Medical College.

The accident happened on the Alappuzha-Changanacherry Road around 8.30.

Three people were on the bike proceeding towards the Changanacherry side, police stated.
