Actor assault case: Dileep summoned for questioning again

Dileep to be questioned again in connection with the 2017 actor assault case.
The Crime Branch has served him a notice asking to be present for questioning.
Though the actor was initially asked to be present on Thursday, upon his request the questioning has been moved to next week.
It is understood that the questioning will take place on Monday.
The investigation team headed by Baiju Poulose had moved the court for further probe in the case.
Director Balachandrakumar's secret statement had also been recorded earlier. It is in connection with the extended probe that Dileep has been summoned for questioning again.
Balachandrakumar had claimed that Dileep showed him visuals of the assault on the actor. It was alleged that the visuals that were submitted before the District Court, was leaked.
The investigating officers are likely to question Dileep on these matters.
In January, Dileep and co-accused were questioned for 33 hours spread across three days based on a High Court order.
