Thiruvananthapuram: A KSRTC bus passenger died after his hand was severed when it struck an electric post in Vizhinjam. The deceased, Sencilose (55), was a resident of Pulluvila.
The accident occurred around 4 pm near Pulinkudy when a bus travelling from Thiruvananthapuram to Kaliyakkavilai veered too close to a roadside post. Sencilose, who was seated near the window, hit the post, resulting in his hand being severed. He suffered excessive bleeding and was rushed to the Medical College Hospital, but could not be saved.
