Two workers missing after under-construction bridge span collapsed in Alappuzha found dead

Alappuzha: Two construction workers who went missing after a span of an under-construction bridge collapsed into the Achankovil River were found dead on Monday. The incident occurred at the Kacherikadavu bridge, which connects three panchayats in Alappuzha.

The deceased have been identified as Binu (42) from Trikunnapuzha, Kizhakkekkara North, and Raghav Karthik from Kallumala. Another worker managed to swim ashore and survived, said an officer from Mavelikara Police Station.
