Vijayaraghavan felicitation, Chemmeen movie at 60 and Kochi art show | Major events in Kerala today 19/08/2025

National award-winning actor Vijayaraghavan will be felicitated at the Henry Baker Hall, Olassa, on Tuesday, and Minister V N Vasavan will take part in the event, which will also feature Pennadan (Woman Actor), a solo play by Santhosh Keezhattur, at 5 pm.

Meanwhile, the 60th anniversary of the iconic film Chemmeen will be celebrated at actor Madhu’s residence in Thiruvananthapuram, where Minister for Culture Saji Cherian will attend the function at 3 pm, and in Kochi, the David Hall Art Gallery in Fort Kochi will host As It Flows, a watercolour exhibition by Jaseela Shereef, from 10.30 am.
