Kaipamangalam: Two youths, Najeeb(30) and Rifad (28), both natives of Chenthrapini Chamakkala were arrested by the police team led by the district rural police chief B Krishnakumar, for trying to murder by stabbing. The culprits were nabbed in the case related to attacking Pathinettumuri native Bilal and his relative Sunsam.
The incident happened at around 5 pm on Wednesday when the accused’s friends had a dispute with Bilal and his brother Salam. Bilal and Salam were injured then and the latter had filed a police case. The accused’s another friend Vineesh summoned Bilal and his relative Sunsam by 9 pm offering a compromise.
However, soon a fight erupted and Vineesh stabbed Bilal and Sunsam. The police have registered case against three accused including Vineesh. Meanwhile, the police have launched a manhunt for Vineesh who is absconding.
