Thiruvananthapuram: A school bus rammed into a wall on Wednesday morning, causing three children to suffer minor injuries, police said. The bus of a private school had suffered from mechanical issues, causing the vehicle to veer to the left, and the driver reported that he was unable to control it. The incident occurred around 8.30 am near Vizhinjam, police stated.
The bus was carrying about 50 students, and following the crash, many of the children were scared and in shock; therefore, 20 of them were taken for treatment, according to the Vizhinjam police station. However, only three of them suffered minor injuries and were currently undergoing treatment, while the remaining students were discharged, he said.
