Rajakumari panchayat introduces conveyor belt system for waste segregation

Rajakumari: The Rajakumari Panchayat has adopted a modern solution for waste management with the installation of a conveyor belt system to segregate non-organic waste at its Waste Collection Centre. The waste, brought in by members of the Haritha Karma Sena, will now be sorted more efficiently through this mechanised process.

The new facility, established with the support of the Suchitwa Mission, is expected to significantly ease the workload of Haritha Karma Sena members and improve overall waste segregation efficiency.

Panchayat President Suma Biju inaugurated the facility by switching on the conveyor belt. Block Panchayat member K J Siju, Panchayat Vice-President Ajesh Mukalel, along with other panchayat members and staff, attended the function.
