Thrissur: The Guruvayur Temple Police have registered another case against Jasna Salim, a Kozhikode native, for allegedly filming and sharing videos from the west Nada of the Sreekrishna Temple in violation of a Kerala High Court directive. Jasna is an artist and social media influencer.
The case was filed based on a complaint from the Guruvayur Devaswom administrator. Police charged her under sections related to creating public disturbance and trespassing into a high-security zone. According to the complaint, she shot reels at the West Nada, where photography and videography are strictly prohibited.
Earlier in April, Jasna had been booked for a similar offence after filming videos at the temple’s East Nada despite restrictions on photography and media entry. Her repeated violation of temple norms has reignited debate over security measures and respect for court directives at places of worship.
Police said a similar case has also been registered against another Instagram user, R1_Bright.
