The High Court Division Bench has stayed a single bench order that disqualified all office-bearers of the SNDP Yogam, including General Secretary Vellappally Natesan, with the Chief Justice and a Judge agreeing that the original plea should have been filed with the National Company Law Tribunal instead of the High Court. This stay, issued on Monday, allows Vellappally Natesan and other members to continue in their positions, reversing the disqualification that was based on a writ petition seeking to prohibit the Yogam from exercising supervisory powers and to appoint an administrator.
In a Facebook post, Gokul said a writ petition was filed in the High Court seeking the disqualification of Gopalakrishnan.
It is sufficient if the accused has been duly informed and the Foreigners Regional Registration Office (FRRO) or the concerned embassy or consulate has been notified.
