2. Kerala Congress (B) leader hacked to death, political blame-game erupts
3. 'No truck with Congress party': CPM Party Congress adopts Kerala unit's line
4. Go to India if you like it so much, Pakistan's Opposition leader Maryam Nawaz tells Prime Minister Imran Khan
5. Kerala on firm ground after SC ruling on Mullaperiyar dam calls for periodic safety check
Let’s get into the details.
The Enforcement Directorate has moved the Supreme Court seeking to cancel the bail granted to Bineesh Kodiyeri, son of Kerala CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, in a drug-related money laundering case in Bengaluru.
The Karnataka High Court had granted bail to Bineesh last October after he spent nearly a year in a Bengaluru jail.
The deputy director of ED in Bengaluru has moved the apex court challenging the high court order. The investigation agency states that it has collected strong evidence against Bineesh, the fourth accused in the money laundering case.

A political blame-game has commenced over the murder of a 39-year-old man during a temple festival at Kunnikode in Kollam district on Friday night.
The murdered youth, Manoj, was a functionary of the Kerala Congress (B). The party has already termed it a political murder and blamed the Congress.
MLA K B Ganeshkumar alleged that Manoj was killed by Congress activists.
However, Congress refuted the charge by demanding an inquiry into the criminal background of the murdered youth.

The ongoing CPM Party Congress in Kannur has decided not to enter into any political alliance with Congress Party even though the left party admitted that Congress is not an opponent as same as the BJP.
The Party Congress rejected the arguments of some delegates that Congress should not be isolated.
The Party Congress also ratified the political line put forward by the draft political resolution that a national alternative to BJP should be found by building suitable political alliances in various states.
But the political resolution could not be passed unanimously at the Party Congress as four persons voted against it. When the amendments were put to vote, one delegate opposed them.
Some of the delegates gave a letter to the presidium chairman Manik Sarkar, complaining that party general secretary Sitaram Yechuri did not give a proper reply to the amendments moved by the delegates. It became notable when Manik Sarkar told the conference openly that he was bringing this matter to the attention of the general secretary.
As many as 35 delegates spoke at the discussions held on Thursday and Friday. As many as 390 amendments and 12 suggestions were moved by the delegates. But no major amendments were approved by the conference.

Pakistan's Opposition leader Maryam Nawaz on Saturday lashed out at Prime Minister Imran Khan for lavishing praise on India, saying he should go to the neighbouring country if he likes it so much.
The remarks of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam, who is the daughter of deposed prime minister Nawaz Sharif, came after Khan called India a "nation with a great sense of honour".
Prime Minister Khan, in an address to the nation on Friday night ahead of the no-trust motion where he has little chances of surviving unless some miracle takes place, said that he was not against India and had a lot of following in the neighbouring country.
This was not the first time when the embattled Prime Minister Khan has praised India to the surprise of Opposition parties.
Last week, he praised India for its independent foreign policy.
The 69-year-old cricketer-turned-politician, who has effectively lost the majority in the 342-member house, seemed to accept the writing on the wall and urged his supporters to stage peaceful protests across the country when the "new imported government" comes into power on Sunday.
Khan faces the possibility of being the first premier in the country's history to be voted out in a no-trust motion.
No Pakistani prime minister has ever completed a full five-year term in office.

The latest ruling of the Supreme Court of India in the Mullaperiyar case has given an advantage to Kerala in the dispute with Tamil Nadu over the safety of the dam, which is located on the border between the two states.
The apex court has now ordered another safety check of the dam after 12 years and given total administrative control of the facility to the supervisory committee.
