Sourav Ganguly was announced on Sunday as the head coach of the SA20 side Pretoria Capitals.

The former India captain replaces Englishman Jonathan Trott, who stepped down on Saturday.

Ganguly, a former chief of the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India), will take charge ahead of the fourth season, expected to begin in late December.

"The Prince is all set to bring a royal flair to the Capitals camp! We are ecstatic to announce Sourav Ganguly as our new head coach," the Capitals posted on social media.
