Pacer Mitchell Starc has returned to Australia's ODI squad for the three-match home series against India starting on October 19.
In the absence of injured skipper Pat Cummins, Mitchell Marsh will continue as captain. Starc did not feature in the ODI series against South Africa in August to manage his workload ahead of the Ashes.
The left-arm pacer last played an ODI in November 2024 against Pakistan in Adelaide.
Uncapped batter Matthew Renshaw, Matt Short and Mitch Owen are part of Australia's 15-member squad. Cummins is recovering from a lumbar bone stress.
Alex Carey will miss the first match of the ODI series in Perth. The second and third matches will be held on October 23 (Adelaide) and October 25 (Sydney).
A five-match T20I series will be played after that, starting October 29 (Canberra). The other T20I matches will be played on October 31 (Melbourne), November 2 (Hobart), November 6 (Gold Coast) and November 8 (Brisbane).
India named Shubman Gill as captain of the ODI side, replacing Rohit Sharma, who is also part of the squad. Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer are members of the 15-member touring side for ODIs.
