Kerala made a solid start to the New Year with a big win over Mumbai in the Women's Under-15 One-Day Trophy in Indore on Friday.
All-round efforts from Vaiga Akhilesh and Aryananda N S helped Kerala crush Mumbai by eight wickets, chasing a modest target of 120 in 27.4 overs.
Vaiga and Aryananda bagged two wickets each before scoring 49 and 34 not out respectively. Captain Ivaana Shani made 33.
Kerala's next match is against Pondicherry on January 4. After that, Kerala play Chhattisgarh (Jan 6), Chandigarh (Jan 8) and Haryana (Jan 10).
