Kozhikode: Kozhikode Corporation now offers affordable accommodation facilities for women travellers who want to stay in the city for various needs. Minister PA Mohamed Riyas inaugurated the She Lodge and Hymavathy Thayat Working Women's Hostel in Mankavu on Monday. The lodge offers a dormitory, double bedrooms and air-conditioned deluxe rooms. It is located at the Railway Link Road, very close to the railway station, targeting women travellers from different districts and states.
The rates vary from Rs.100 to Rs.2250. 'She World' Kudumbasree unit under the corporation CDS runs the She Lodge. Food will be available at reasonable rates, informed corporation authorities. Customers can book online through the websites- www.shehomes.in and shelodge@shehomes.in.
In the working women's hostel, there are bedrooms with two beds and four beds. Safalyam Ayalkkoottam is managing the hostel. Food is also available in the hostel. Corporation Mayor Dr. Beena Philip presided over the function.
