The Railways has announced the operation of a special train from the Bandra Terminus to the pilgrimage town of Velankanni for the church festival. The service which will start on August 27 will continue till September 8. Four services will be conducted in either direction.
Bandra-Velankanni (09093)
The train which will leave Bandra Terminus for Velankanni on August 27 (Tuesday) and September 6 (Friday) at 9.20 pm will reach Velankanni at 8.30 am on Thursday and Sunday respectively.
Velankanni-Bandra (09094)
The train will leave Velankanni on August 29 (Thursday) and September 8 (Sunday) at 10 pm and reach Bandra Terminus at 3 pm on Saturday and Tuesday respectively.

The train stops
The special train will stop at Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Lonavala, Pune, Dhond, Solapur, Gundakal, Katpadi, Vellore Cantt, Thiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Cuddalore and Port. The train consists of second AC, third AC, sleeper and general classes.
Ticket booking set to open
Ticket booking for the Bandra-Velankanni train (09093) will start on Friday on the IRCTC website and railway ticket counters.
