Passengers' long-time demand to change the timings of the Kollam-Tambaram train is materialising next month. From September 4, the train will depart from Kollam at 4 pm. So far, the train has been leaving Kollam at 12 noon and reaching Tambaram at 3.20 am, which was quite an inconvenient time for most passengers. Coaches will also be increased in the train now on.
