Kochi: To manage the festive rush during Onam, Kochi Metro and Water Metro will operate additional services.
From September 2 to 4, Kochi Metro trains will run until 10.45 pm. The last services from Aluva and Tripunithura terminals will depart at 10.45 pm. During peak hours, six extra services will be operated to ease passenger traffic.
The Kochi Water Metro will also increase frequency during rush hours, with boats running at 10-minute intervals. From September 2 to 7, services between Fort Kochi and High Court terminals will be available until 9 pm.
