Hello
The Union Budget has set aside Rs 1957.05 crore for the second phase of Kochi Metro.
The second phase of the Metro is from the Kaloor international stadium till Infopark in Kakkanad.
The Metro decided to roll back the timings after considering the public's demand.
Bicycles that can be carried in a return bag will be considered as luggage, officials said.
The vehicle will stop only at the metro station and collectorate. At the moment auto feeder services are available from Vyttila metro station to 12 different routes.
The officer has been charged with attempting to relax contract conditions while he was the Ernakulam District Collector.
In the beginning the facility will be provided only at six stations; Changampuzha Park, Palarivattom, South, Town Hall, Maharajas College and Elamkulam.
Kochi would be the first city in India to see such a transformation in public transportation.
As per the promise made during the inauguration of the project, the commencement of the water metro service is already too delayed.
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Union Minister Hardip Singh Puri will flag-off the first Kochi Metro train from Pettah in an online function.
