Amrit Bharat train has a stop at Kerala's Neeleshwaram: However you can't book a ticket

A few days ago, the Nagarcoil-Mangaluru Amrit Bharat Express (16329/16330) was allotted stops at Kerala's Kanhangad and Neeleshwaram (Nileswar) in Kasaragod district. It was also announced that, while the new stops are now allotted on an experimental basis, they will be made permanent if ticket sales are sufficient. The Railway Board Joint Director, Vivek Kumar Sinha, had also instructed to closely monitor ticket sales at these stations. Rail passengers from the Northern part of Kerala, who have been facing numerous challenges due to an insufficient number of stops, had also welcomed the move. However, passengers aren't yet able to book tickets for this stop.  

Neeleshwaram is not yet shown as a stop in the RailOne app, which helps passengers get an unreserved ticket. However, tickets from Kanhangad and Payyanur stops, which were allowed along with Neeleshwaram, are available in the app. Passengers are worried that the Amrit Bharat Express's income from Neeleshwaram would drop if tickets are not available on the app. The meeting of the railway development community in Neeleshwaram has decided to send an email to the authorities urging them to make tickets for Amrit Bharat Express available to Neeleshwaram on the RailOne app.

Though Neeleshwaram doesn't figure on the RailOne app, it appears as 'Nileshwar' on the IRCTC Rail Connect app. The weekly Amrit Bharat train, which leaves Nagercoil at 11.40 am, reaches Nileshwar at 1.37 am on the way to Mangaluru. In the opposite direction, it reaches Nileshwar at 9.07 am. The train operates from Nagercoil on Tuesdays and Mangaluru on Wednesdays.
