Kuttikanam: The 2nd Kuttikkanam International Film Festival, 'Kathrika', hosted by the Communications and Media Studies department of Marian College, will be held on February 1 and 2 here.

The department aims at giving a tribute to all film makers who wants an uncensored art space. This time the organisers have included films which had to face rigid censorship.

As part of 'Kathrika', Sexy Durga (Malayalam) Kaadu pookunna neram (Malayalam) Ka bodyscapes (Malayalam) Parched (Hindi)Taxi (Iranian) Lipstick under my Burkha (Hindi) The interview (English) Head-on (Turkish) Stoning of Soraya M.(Persian) will be screened.

Short film and photography competitions will also be conducted as part of the event.

Short films directed after January 2017, with a duration of less than 30 minutes canbe sent for the competition.

For the photography competition,'Rebuliding Kerala' is the theme Only pictures which are taken after 15 August 2018 shall be considered.
