3,928 qualify Kerala State Eligibility Test, certificates from May

The results of the State Eligibility Test that was held on 9 January, 2022 for the recruitment of higher secondary and vocational higher secondary school teachers in Kerala have been declared. 

The candidates can check their results on the websites prd.kerala.gov.in and www.lbscentre.kerala.gov.in. 

In all 3,928 candidates among the 19,347 who wrote the exams have passed. Those who have passed should download the application form for the certificate from the website of LBS Centre For Science & Technology. 

The filled-in application form should be sent via post along with the copies of the required documents that are attested by a gazetted officer and also a self-addressed A4 envelope pasted with stamp worth Rs 40. These should be sent to the Director, LBS Centre for Science and Technology, Palayam, Thiruvananthapuram – 33. 

The attested copies of the following documents are to be sent along with the application: 

* page of the SSLC certificate where the name is visible 

* certificate of post-graduate (PG) degree (provisional/original)

* B Ed certificate (provisional/ original)

* Mark lists/grade cards (PG and BEd)

* Equivalency/eligibility certificates of courses done from universities outside Kerala (PG and B Ed)

* Equivalency/eligibility certificates of PG courses that are not included in Section 2.2  of the prospectus.

* OBC (non–creamy layer) candidates who had submitted online applications should submit the original non–creamy layer certificate (issued between 21/10/2021 and 03/11/2021)

* SC/ ST/ PH candidates have to send attested copies of the certificates that prove their caste/physical disability. 

Those who had been studying for final-year PG or BEd courses when the application for SET was submitted should download the declaration form from the website. This should then be filled by the head of the institute and send along with the rest of the documents. 

The SET certificates would be distributed from May onwards. Meanwhile, the application form for the certificates would be available on the website from 5 February onwards.
