Thiruvananthapuram: The Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination results of the Kerala Board are out. A whopping 99.26 per cent, i.e, 4,23,303 of the 4,26,469 students who appeared for the all-important Class-10 final examination have qualified for higher studies.
Among districts, Kannur topped in pass percentage with 99.76%. Wayanad trailed the 13 other districts with 98.07%.
Meanwhile, Pala educational district came first in pass percentage with 99.94%. Attingal educational district was the laggard with 97.98%.
The most number of full A-pluses — 3,024 — were reported from Malappuram district. State-wide, 44,363 students secured A-plus scores in all subjects. This was 1,25,509 last year.
In all 2,134 schools have reported 100% success.
Kerala General Education Minister V Sivankutty announced the results at the PR Chamber in the Secretariat on Wednesday afternoon.
The SSLC examinations were conducted from March 31 to April 29 across 2,962 centres.
The overall pass percentage last year was 99.47%.
How to check the results
The results will be available on official websites/apps PRD Live and Saphalam 2022 from 4pm.

PRD Live app
Enter the register number in the link on the home page to get the detailed results. The PRD Live, which is the official mobile app of the Information & Public Relations department, is available on the Google PlayStore and App Store. The app has been developed such that the results can be accessed quickly without any disruptions, even when there is an increase in traffic.
Saphalam 2022
The SSLC results can also be known through the Saphalam 2022 — the app brought out by the Kerala Infrastructure and Technology for Education (KITE). The app has been developed in addition to the cloud-based portal www.results.kite.kerala.gov.in.
Apart from individual results, a comprehensive analysis, including various reports, graphics, and analysis of the results at the school-level, education district and revenue district, will be available at the portal and the mobile app. The app can be downloaded from the Google PlayStore.
SAY exam
Failed students can take the 'Save A Year' (SAY) exam for a maximum of three subjects. The exam, which gives another chance to students who have failed to secure pass marks in a few subjects, will be held on July.
No grace marks
This year too grace marks are not awarded for SSLC and Plus-Two exams. The general education principal secretary has issued an order clarifying this.
The arts, sports and science events which are conducted by the education department were cancelled during the last academic year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Grace marks are given to students participating in such events.
Class-12 results next week
The results of the Higher Secondary Exam (Class 12) would be declared on June 20.
