Thiruvananthapuram: The authorities at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University informed that the BTech results aren’t completely withdrawn or changed. However, there has been minor changes in the pass percentage and the academic performance index of some colleges after the revised results got published. The university has revised the results after receiving complaints about the pass percentage of some colleges.

In BTech, besides passing the exams, the students need to score at least 100 activity points through extra curricular activities. Moreover, those who have chosen audit courses should strictly complete that too. The colleges would be evaluating the audit courses. The results of the audit courses and the activity points are uploaded by the colleges in the university portal.

The additional guidelines for granting the BTech degree is being examined after the results have been published. The university said that it had instructed the college principals to submit the details regarding the activity points, audit courses and MOOC courses before 11 July. The details that were uploaded until 24 July were considered for the results. However, the results of some colleges that had submitted the details after 24 July were incomplete. Hence, the results of some students weren’t available in the portal.
