New Delhi: The Indian Embassy in China has again issued a warning to students who are studying MBBS courses in China. Only those who follow the earlier instructions regarding the courses would be eligible to write the Foreign Medical Graduates Examination in India.

After completing the MBBS course and the internship in China, the fresh graduates should pass the Chinese medical qualification examination for the Physician Qualification Certificate. This license to practise medicine in the country where the candidate has studied is compulsory.

The embassy clarified that the warnings have been issued again as the medical colleges in China are all set to begin the admission process. Besides, many Indian students who came back due to the COVID-19 pandemic are likely to return to complete the courses.

Another important instruction is that all students must study Chinese language up to HSK–4 level as Chinese is compulsory for the clinical sessions at colleges.

The Indian embassy officials said that the Chinese authorities have been informed about the guidelines of the National Medical Commission (of India).
