The fourth edition of the Rain International Nature Film Festival (RINFF) organized by Birds Club International began at CMS College campus in Kottayam on Friday.
The festival will offer screenings of critically acclaimed and important films from around the world as well as highlight students and emerging filmmakers.
The festival will also offer a platform for filmmakers to nurture their original visions and voices.
The relevance of this green endeavour is that film scholars as well as established and emerging filmmakers from around the world can engage the audience in a lively dialogue about the environmental perspectives contained in their work.
Birds Club International is a non-commercial organisation founded by National award-winning film director Jayaraj and aims at promoting global interest in birds, conservation of nature and the environment through public campaigns and education.
