Made by a cinematographer-turned-director, Kammatipaadam offered a rich visual treat for the viewers apart from a being powerful cinematic experience. Many of us took the stunning frames and shots, that of both the green-rich Kammatipaadam and its contemporary avatar of a Metro city for real. Now, director Rajeev Ravi himself has decoded the mystery behind several shots, revealing the visual effects techniques used to make them look real.
Rajeev Ravi on Sunday shared a Youtube video on his Facebook account which features the making of several scenes of the film. The 4.39-minute video shows in detail how several scenes, including the climax of the Dulquer Salmaan-starrer were shot. The video offers a graphical representation of the camera angles and movements and shows each layer of a shot.
