Chennai: Dulquer Salmaan-starrer Malayalam action-drama Kammatipaadam, which released in cinemas last week, has grossed Rs7 crore in its first week at the theatres in the country.
"The film grossed approximately Rs7 crore in its first week in the country. It has maintained a steady run at the ticket window. This week, it has released in a few countries in the Gulf," trade analyst Trinath told IANS.
Directed by Rajeev Ravi, the film is about how a place called Kammatipaadam paved way to Kochi many years ago.
Also starring Vinayakan, Manikandan, Vinay Fort and Shaun Romy, the film is produced by Prem Menon under the banner of Global United Media.
The film has music by K (Krishna Kumar), John P. Varkey and Vinayakan.
