The trailer of Imtiaz Ali's latest film Tamasha starring Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone throws a question at you in between – Why always the same story?
From what we've seen in the trailer, this romantic drama is likely to take you on an emotional ride with captivating performances from the lead pair. In the 2 minute 55 second-long trailer, the first half is devoted to the usual boy-meet-girl routine with picturesque Corsica, France in the backdrop.
However, the second half of the trailer brings in more anticipation as we watch their complex relationship unfold. The sequences are tied together with A.R. Rahman's superb score looming large.
The trailer was unveiled at an event in Mumbai on Tuesday and was shared on social media platforms along with a note from the director: "Tamasha is a film with many faces but a simple heart. We present today the first trailer of the movie. Hope you like it - Imtiaz Ali."
Deepika and the Ranbir star are reuniting in Tamasha after their romantic film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in 2013.
Tamasha is Deepika and Ranbir's second movie with the director following the Deepika's outing in 2009 rom-com Love Aaj Kal and the Ranbir stint as a musician in Rockstar (2011).
It is also Imtiaz Ali's second collaboration with music director A.R. Rahman after his last film Highway.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Tamasha is slated to hit theatres on November 27.
