This viral video shows an easy hack to store leftover cake in the fridge

Whether it is Twitter or Instagram, this particular tip video has been shocking most viewers because of how outrageously easy and helpful it is.

Most people cut the leftover cake into small pieces before storing it in the fridge. However, the icing often becomes a mess when the cake is cut like this. That's where this mysterious video maker comes for your aid. Instead of flipping the lid or placing the cake into the container, they just place the empty container bowl on top of the lid over the cake gently and secure the locks. Now, the container is placed in the refrigerator upside down so that the cake stays on the lid without flipping, thus the frosting remains untouched.

Even though this trick is often taught at the pastry classes, common people aren’t too familiar with such simple yet brilliant method. The video has been viewed by more than 18 million on Twitter so far.
