Khati roll

Bored of having same old roti- curry for dinner daily? Here is an easy substitute. Khati roll is a simple stuffed-chapati course which needs less than ten minutes for preparation. Stuffed with eggs and onions, topped with ghee, Khati roll is a spicy rich main course with mouth watering aroma.

Ingredients
15 chapatis
4 eggs
Salt as required
1 tbsp pepper powder
3 tbsp oil or ghee
1 onion, sliced
4 garlic cloves, sliced
2 green chilies, chopped
1/2 tsp garam masala

Preparation
Beat the eggs
Heat oil in a pan and add onion
Saute it till the onion turns brown
Add salt, pepper and garam masala to the onion and mix well.
Add chopped green sillies
Sprinkle some water and cover the pan until the mixture is cooked
Once cooked, turn off the flame
Heat another pan and pour 2 tbsp of beaten eggs into it
Place a chapati on top of it and press it with your hand
Spin the chapati in the pan
Heat it for 10 seconds or till the egg sticks to the chapati and then flip it
Now spread the filling on it and roll tightly.
Khati roll is ready to be served
Garnish it with onion rings and serve with mint chutney
