Easy and tasty paneer matar rice

Paneer is always kids' favourite. You don't even need to plead your child to eat paneer. The best part of paneer is that you can add this in many dishes and it is the right way to impress your kids as well. Here is the recipe of paneer matar rice you could pack for lunch.

Ingredients
2 cups cooked basmati rice
50 gms paneer
¼ cup green peas
2 tbsp onion (chopped)
½ tsp garlic (chopped)
¼ tsp ginger (chopped)
½ tsp green chillies (chopped)
1 tbsp ghee
¼ tsp garam masala
1 tbsp yogurt
Salt as required
Coriander leaves as required
Mint leaves as required
Whole spices
Small piece of cinnamon
¼ tsp fennel seeds
4 black pepper corns
3 cloves
1 cardamom pod
Small piece star anise
1 bay leaf

Preparation
Heat ghee in a pan and lightly fry the paneer cubes. Keep it aside.
Add the whole spices into it and roast until it releases aroma.
Into it add ginger, garlic, green chillies, green peas, and onion.
Sauté well.
Now add the garam masala, fried paneer, and cooked rice.
Give everything a good mix.
Garnish with fresh coriander and mint leaves.
