Crunchy chicken 555

Try this unique dish in case you are bored of the regular chicken dishes. It is a delicious dish that could be easily prepared using ingredients that are easily found in the pantry. Chicken 555 could be enjoyed as a side dish with chapathi, rice or biryani. Check out the recipe.

Ingredients
½ kg chicken
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp green chillies
1 egg
1 tbsp corn flour
1 tbsp all purpose flour
2 tbsp Kashmiri chilli powder
Salt as required
Oil
Curry leaves
¼ - ½ tsp pepper powder
¾ cup yoghurt
1 onion
¼ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp garam masala
1 tbsp coriander powder

Preparation
Mix corn flour, all purpose flour, egg, 1 tbsp chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt in a bowl
Into it add the boneless chicken or small pieces that have bones
Marinate and keep aside for at least 30 minutes
After 30 minutes, deep fry the marinated chicken pieces in hot oil
Transfer 2 tbsp oil from this pan to another
Sauté ginger, garlic and green chillies
Now add finely chopped onion and curry leaves
Sauté until the onion turns light brown
Lower the flame before adding 1 tbsp chilli powder, coriander powder and pepper powder
Sauté well until the raw smell of the powders is gone
Pour ½ cup water
Mix and stir until the water reduces completely and oil begins to separate
Into it add yoghurt
Sauté until oil separates
Now add the fried chicken pieces
Mix well
Close the lid and cook for 3 minutes
Finally, add ¾ tsp garam masala
Give everything a good mix
Tasty chicken 555 is ready!
