Try this soft millet appam for weight loss

Millets are rich in calcium, magnesium, iron, sodium, potassium and many other incredible nutrients. It is healthier than your regular wheat flour and plain white rice.

The high calcium content in millets could make the bones stronger. Melt in the mouth millet appam is a delicious snack that could be enjoyed as it is or with spicy curries. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients
2 cup millet powder
2 tbsp urad dal
2 cup coconut water
1 tbsp sugar
Salt as required
2 tsp oil
Preparation
Mix sugar in coconut water
Keep it aside for at least a day to ferment
Meanwhile, soak the urad dal for least two hours
After two hours, grind the soaked urad dal with millet powder, salt and fermented coconut water
Set the batter aside
After four hours, the batter would be nicely risen
Boil water in a steamer
Pour the batter into a greased vessel
Insert it into the steamer
Cook in steam for 10 minutes
You could enjoy tasty millet appam with chicken or mutton curry.
