Few days ago social media went gaga over a Thrissur girl named Krishna who was seen in a video as going to school on a horse. Social media was abuzz about the class ten student of Mala Holy Grace School and her courage. Netizens also lauded the girl for her amazing equestrian skills.
The girl has found an admirer in noted industrialist Anand Mahindra who shared her videos on his official twitter handle. Overwhelmed by Krishna’s skills, Mahindra expressed his wish to make a picture of hers and the horse Rana as his screen saver.
Anand Mahindra tweeted, “Does anyone in Thrissur know this girl? I want a picture of her and her horse as my screen saver. She’s my hero. The sight of her charging to school filled me with optimism for the future.”
Sharing the video of Krishna galloping on her horse to school, Mahindra had tweeted earlier, “Brilliant! Girls’ education galloping ahead…A clip that deserves to go viral globally. This too is incredibleindia.”
Krishna is the daughter of Ajay Kalinda who is the head priest at the Mala Puthenvelikkara Maha Vishnu temple. She rode on her horse to school to attend her final exams. Not just to school, but Krishna likes to ride on her favorite steed when she goes for shopping as well. Krishna's dream is to take part in international equestrian competitions.
