Pala: Mild tremors were reported at three villages near Pala in the Kottayam district on Wednesday.

The magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 1.9 at KSEB's seismographs in Idukki. The Kerala State Disaster Management Authority (KSDMA) has warned aftershocks could occur in the coming hours.
The earthquake was reported 36 kilometres from the seismic station in Idukki.
