Three Keralites killed in Bengaluru road accident

Bengaluru: Three Keralites are among the four dead in a late-night car-truck collision at Electronic City in Bengaluru. The dead include two natives of Kozhikode and a woman from Thammanam in Kochi.

The dead are: Adarsh and Fadil, who were from Kozhikode, and K Shilpa who was from Thammanam locality in Kochi.

One young woman who lost her life is yet to be identified.

The car in which they were travelling belongs to one Aparna Aravind, a resident of Ananganadi village in Palakkad.

The car riders were residents of Bommanahalli in Bengaluru. They were proceeding to Kengeri, a Bengaluru suburb, when the accident occurred at about 11pm on Friday night. The truck with a Tamil Nadu registration hit the car from the rear. In the impact the car was thrown off and fell on a few other vehicles. In all three trucks and five cars were involved in the serial collision.

Six others injured in the accident have been admitted to various hospitals.
