Several TN tourists, including children, injured after mini bus overturns in Idukki

Idukki: Several tourists from Tamil Nadu were injured after a mini bus overturned at Viripara near Mankulam on Sunday afternoon. The bus, carrying 28 adults and 8 children from Tiruppur, lost control and fell into a roadside slope around 1.30 pm.

Many passengers suffered injuries, with a few reported to be in serious condition. Rescue efforts were delayed due to poor mobile network connectivity in the area. Local residents and passersby helped pull out the injured and take them to hospitals in Adimali using nearby vehicles.

Police have launched an investigation to find out what caused the accident.
