Ernakulam women, Thrissur men emerge Kerala State Basketball champions

Ernakulam and Thrissur emerged champions in women's and men's categories respectively of the Kerala State Basketball Championships at Manjeri.

In the women's final, Ernakulam defeated Thrissur 70-65 with point guard Amanda Maria Rocha scoring a game-high 33 points.

In the men's final,Thrissur defeated holders Kottayam 70-63 after trailing 28-30. Mohammed Irfan top scored with 26 points for the winners. Ernakulam's Amanda and Thrissur's Muhammed Sahal were declared the Most Valuable Players of the championships.

Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram claimed bronze in the women's and men's categories respectively.
