Kangana and family members beat lockdown blues in Manali

Bollywood star Kangana Ranaut is chilling out, along with her family members, at the cool and pleasant Manali in Himachal Pradesh. The talented actress has shared a video on social media in which she is seen rolling on green meadows in the sunshine.

The social marketing team of Kangana in a tweet thanked the Himachal Pradesh government for giving the nod for her and family members to visit Manali amidst COVID-19-induced lockdown restrictions.

In a video posted on social media, Kangana is bursting into laughter as she rolls on the natural grass meadows of the valley. The star’s sister Rangoli and nephew Prithvi can also be seen. It’s just fun and frolic for the family members, including Kangana’s mother, as they are singing, dancing and having food together.

“Kangana organized a picnic for her family and because of lockdown there are no tourists in the valley. The result? A freedom-filled happy time in the valley that she hasn’t seen in years. Nature has a way of healing us and everything has a silver lining, we need to look for it,” the team wrote on Instagram.

On the work front, Kangana is set to produce and direct ‘Aparajita Ayodhya’, a film based on the Ram Mandir case.

Manali, which is close to 2,000m above from sea level, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Himachal Pradesh. Usually, travellers from across the world flock to Manali during all seasons, but the travel curbs put in place in the wake of the pandemic have adversely affected the tourist flow to this hill station. The officials and tourists are hoping that everything will be normal after a while.
