A team of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) travelled 15 km on foot to rescue the stranded people.
As many as 120 people have died in rain-related incidents in the state this month.
A total of 709 roads in the state are now shut following three major spells of heavy rains this Monsoon that have left a trail of death and destruction.
With 200 more roads blocked, a total of 530 roads in the state are now shut.
The entire hill state has been declared as a "natural calamity affected area" in view of the damage caused to human life and property due to heavy rains, a notification issued here on Friday said.

Another landslide was reported in Shimla's Summer Hill area this morning, but casualty figures are not known yet.

According to the state emergency operation centre, 621 roads were closed in the state because of the calamity.
The Central Water Commission's data showed the water level reached 205.48 metres at 8 am and 205.60 metres an hour later.
