Kunchako Boban, one of the favourite actors of Malayalam moviegoers, has posted pictures and videos of him spending his holidays at the spotless Marari beach in Alappuzha district on social media.
The 43-year-old actor, who hails from Alappuzha, uploaded the snaps on Instagram under the head ‘son of a beach’. Kunchako Boban stayed at the Marari Beach Resort and has also posted a thank-you note for the hospitality extended by the staff and for making the stay memorable.
The resort is modelled after getting inspired by the modest lifestyle of the fisherfolk of Mararikulam. The retreat has huts and environment-rooted facilities that reflect the simplicity and beauty of the culture of the people living on the Malabar coastline. It is also a paradise for nature enthusiasts as the facility gives an opportunity to the visitors to see different species of butterflies, tortoises, frogs and birds.
This pristine beach is situated near Mararikulam, which is 11km away from Alappuzha city, and the nearest railway station is the Mararikulam station. Apart from the sandy beach, the main attraction is a groove of coconut trees spread across one km facing the Arabian Sea. Many travellers come to Marari beach to spend their holidays and watch the beautiful sunsets.
