Khushbu too has shared the Christmas sights in London. Khushbu says that walking through the effervescent streets of London, with its rich history and vibrant culture, always feels comforting and induces a sense of belonging. Familiar sights and friendly faces deeply touch her, Khushbu noted. This is not just a destination but a place that feels like home, she says.
The holiday season in London is very magical. From the very beginning of December, the streets of the city brim with Christmas lights shining through the snow and lavishly decorated Christmas trees. Christmas markets and festive programmes accord a hearty welcome to travellers from different parts of the world. The largest Christmas tree in London was set up in Trafalgar Square. The sparkling Christmas decorations in places such as Kew Gardens, Seven Dials Christmas Lights, Marylebone, Regent Street Kingston, Carnaby, and Enchanted Woodland are a feast for the eyes.
Another Christmas attraction was the magnificent church of Westminster Abbey, located west of the Palace of Westminster. The church, which is almost 1,000 years old, is filled with thousands of people on every Christmas Eve. The Carol Festival which takes place at the Royal Albert Hall is considered one of the best Christmas events in London. Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park is one of London’s must-attend Christmas fairs. The famous 'Hogwarts in the Snow' studio tour is also a must-see during the season.
