Thiruvananthapuram: The state tourism department has initiated ads featuring characters from 'Chotta Bheem,' a favourite cartoon character of children. The animation ad shows the characters arriving in Kerala to celebrate a vacation.
The forests, elephants, the sea and the backwaters of the state are featured in the ad, which mainly targets families from northern India.
The Kerala Tourism is also running a campaign called 'Come out and Play' in association with English movie channel HBO. It is the state tourism department which presents adventure travel movies on HBO until June 15. A special ad featuring scenes from Hollywood movies has been made for this.
