Thiruvananthapuram: Post-graduate medical course applicants who had received a memo due to the discrepancies in their application will get more time to upload the corrected documents. They may now upload their corrected certificates online until 3 pm on 29 January. Besides, they would also get the chance to rearrange their options.

The first round of allotment would be announced on 31 January on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the entrance exam commissioner. However, the rank list and the category list would be published before that.

Delay in All–India rank list
The temporary rank list of the first-round allotment for All–India MBBS and BDS seats was deleted from the Medical Counselling Committee’s website (www.mcc.nic.in) soon after it was published the other day.

The new list would be published only after the Madras High Court pronounces judgement on a writ petition regarding admissions that was heard on Friday. As a result the MBBS and BDS counselling process is likely to be delayed.

Earlier this month the Madras High Court directed the Tamil Nadu Government to allocate 50% of the super-speciality seats in government medical colleges in the state to in-service government doctors for the academic year 2021-22. This followed the hearing on a writ petition filed by an Assistant Professor at the Madras Medical College.
