The National Medical Commission (NMC) has notified changes in the syllabus of NEET-UG, the common national entrance examination for admissions to undergraduate medical courses. The latest syllabus on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is available in the ‘What’s New’ link on the website, www.nmc.org.in.

The NEET-UG for 2024–25 will be conducted according to this syllabus. NMC has simplified the syllabus after receiving complaints that it was tough. While some chapters have been omitted, others have been added. Stress is now given to sections that have relevance to medical education.
