‘Horizon’ exhibition begins; experts to hold talks on job-oriented courses

Kottayam: The Malayala Manorama Horizon Education Exhibition, which seeks to introduce overseas opportunities in the education and career sectors, began at the Mammen Mappila Hall here on Tuesday. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan, MLA, inaugurated the exhibition this morning. Entry is free, and the time is from 10 am to 7 pm. The event will conclude on Wednesday.

A total of 45 higher education institutions will take part in the exhibition conducted in association with the Indian Institute of Commerce Lakshya. There will be opportunities to learn about the courses and career opportunities abroad and clarify doubts regarding the same. The stalls of key consulting institutions in the overseas education sector are set up at the exhibition.

There will be opportunities to learn more about courses like computer science, mechanical engineering, aviation, hotel management, law, fashion technology, tourism, robotics, logistics, and nursing conducted in prominent colleges in Kerala and outside and interact with experts on the same. The exhibition will be helpful in learning about courses that help gain employment through limited-term training.

The Manorma Year Book will be gifted to the first 300 people who visit the expo with their Plus One and Plus Two mark lists. The first 150 participants in the Odepec seminar will be presented with the Manorama Higher Education Directory. There will be a bumper prize of a flight ticket or laptop for the one among the visitors who wins the lucky dip.
