Barbecue chicken sliders

To put it simply, a slider is a progeny of burger and sandwich. This American favourite could work as a quick fix for your little one's hunger pangs. Replace the patties with a spicy barbecue chicken mix to make it even more delicious.  

Ingredients
2 chicken breasts
2 tbsp butter
¼ cup minced onion
½ cup tomato ketchup
1 tbsp soya sauce
1 tsp peri peri sauce
2 tbsp toasted walnuts ( optional )
8 Brioche buns/any burger bun halved

Preparation
Lightly brush chicken on both sides with oil, add salt and pepper
Bake for 10 to 12 mins or until cooked
Shred the chicken and set aside
In a medium sauce pan on a low flame, melt butter
Add onion and sauté till lightly brown
Add remaining ingredients
Add shredded chicken and toasted walnuts
Grill the insides of the bun on a greased pan on a low flame
Take it off the fire and layer the sliders/burger buns with the filling
