Green pepper chicken fry

This spicy fried chicken that is marinated with fresh pepper corns and green chillies is sure to excite your taste buds. Interestingly, pepper corns are store houses of iron, vitamin K and antioxidants. It reduces the unwanted fat in the body and eases digestion too. Here is the pretty simple recipe of green pepper chicken.

Ingredients
10 garlic cloves
1 sprig curry leaves
2 small ginger pieces
3 shallots
5 green chillies
2 tbsp fresh pepper corns
Hand full of coriander leaves
Salt as required
1 kg chicken
1 sprig curry leaves
4 green chillies
¼ cup coconut oil
2 tbsp corn flour
2 tbsp lemon juice

Preparation
Grind the garlic, ginger, shallots, curry leaves, green chillies, pepper corns, coriander leaves and salt into fine paste
Into this paste add the lemon juice and corn flour
Marinate the chicken pieces with this marinade
Keep aside for at least an hour
Heat coconut oil in a pan
Add the marinated chicken pieces
Fry on low flame until all the sides are nicely cooked
When the chicken pieces are almost done, add some green chillies and curry leaves
Roast well
Enjoy the green pepper chicken fry with flaky porotta or chapathi.
